Hi!

I’ve created successful social media and 360 campaigns for brands from Microsoft to Chevrolet to DirecTV and for products from jalapeño cheese dips to nasal swabs to craft beers (for Budweiser - yes, really!). I've led international creative teams and devised content and channel strategy. I've directed photo and video shoots of monsters, cheddar cheese, eyeballs, and surfboard shapers. My work has won awards, built brands and saved businesses.

I write a design blog

It's super important to know what's happening in the design world. Besides just being curious, it's crucial to know the direction, trends and best examples of current work. 

I also LOVE critiquing design. So I put these all together and created iCritiqueDesign.com. I try to find current examples of work I like, dislike or think is important to talk about, and I try to do it EVERY DAY.

I'm trained in UX Design

User experience is a fascinating and rapidly growing field. Understanding design thinking and human-centered design principles are invaluable skills as part of the overall creative process. Being able to validate ideas using UX skills is an almost magical experience and I recommend that all creatives learn to work within the UX process.

I am relatively new to Los Angeles and don't have the same kind of professional network that I had in New York City. One of my current goals is to get involved in the LA tech community and build up my network. 

I have experience and expertise in running social media for brands so I volunteered to take on a leadership role in UXPALA and I currently lead a small team developing social content and strategy.

Protagonist is an independent, boutique advertising agency that does 360 work for small to mid-sized clients. As an ACD, consulting with my CD, I was a creative lead for the agency. 

• Developed brand expression and national advertising campaigns for entertainment and consumer product clients in digital, print, social media, Broadcast TV, online video, and radio. 

• Planned strategy and delivered client presentations and new business pitches.

• Provided creative and strategic direction  and training to junior creatives and outside production vendors.

Big Fuel – A Publicis Agency

Big Fuel was a large social media agency servicing some of the largest companies in the country. It eventually was folded into Digitas. As an ACD, I was responsible for the development and execution of social media campaigns.

• Responsible for all aspects of social media content and campaign development from ideation and design to production

• Ensured all work was on brand and on strategy

• Created cross-channel marketing campaigns for social channels including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, and Instagram, as well as emerging platforms.

TBWA/Chiat/Day is a global advertising agency in the Omnicom family of agencies. As an art director I was involved in all aspects of advertising campaigns from ideation to design and production.
